If you can think of any extreme diet, chances are, I've tried it. Remember the cabbage soup diet that was popular in the 90s? Eat eight bananas, drink eight glasses of skim milk and consume all the cabbage soup you'd like to eat. Yep, did it when I was twelve years old.

I was a vegetarian for the majority of my life and was vegan throughout college. In my mid to late twenties I was a raw vegan and felt amazing. Now as a wife and mom of a little girl, I find that a mostly paleo lifestyle suits our family dynamic and our health best. Ultimately there are a multitude of ways to create a healthy lifestyle for you and your family and it takes some trial and error to find out what is sustainable and most importantly enjoyable for you.
