Thai Yoga Bodywork is an incredibly therapeutic approach to bodywork and for many people is a totally new experience. In a bodywork session, I will use thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to apply rocking, rhythmic, pressure to your body. Thai Bodywork encompasses a wide range of techniques that include joint mobilization, myofascial stretching, accupressure, deep tissue compression and soft tissue manipulation. Together these techniques create a meditative experience that is deeply therapeutic for the physical body and balancing for the energetic body. I have studied this modality extensively with Jonas Westring in New York, and "Mac" Therdchai Chumphoopong and Ajahn Pichest Boonthumme in Chiang Mai Thailand.

Thai Yoga Bodywork sessions are performed on a padded cotton mat on the floor while the client is fully dressed in comfortable clothing. In order for the whole body to be addressed thoroughly sessions start at 90 minutes and can be extended for up to 2.5 hours. Session rates start at $165 for 90 minutes in my home studio or at Be Yoga. Sessions at other locations are available but travel rates apply. To book your session call or text 917.426.3170 or book via email.
